Murrayshall Country Estate – A Favorite for Families in Perth

Murrayshall Country Estate is set in 365 acres of Perthshire countryside. The hotel offers 65 rooms, including Deluxe King, Estate King, Junior Fairway Suite, and the Lynedoch Suite. A new collection of luxury eco-friendly pods, launching in 2025, will add self-contained accommodation with private hot tubs.

Guests can choose from three on-site restaurants: the fine-dining Eòlas, the casual Cairns, and the Barossa Bar. The dining team uses seasonal local ingredients, with dishes showcasing Scottish Highland produce. A 7-course tasting menu is available at Eòlas, and a 2-course lunch menu at Cairns is priced at £22.

The estate has two parkland golf courses with a total of 27 holes and extensive practice facilities. A dedicated outdoor adventure pursuits pavilion offers quad biking, archery, and axe throwing. Salmon fishing is available on the nearby River Tay, and the hotel provides mapped walking trails across the grounds.

A small spa located in a converted gatehouse provides treatments including massages and facials. The spa offers packages that combine a 60-minute treatment with a private Prosecco afternoon tea. Booking 48 hours in advance is required for spa appointments.

Dogs are welcome in designated suites and public areas, with complimentary dog amenities including a bed, water bowl, and a welcome pack with a blanket, drying mitt, ball, treats, and poop bags. The first night for a dog costs £25, with each subsequent night at £15. The hotel has multiple walking trails on the estate suitable for dogs.
